Easter is a feel-good time of the year as we emerge from the dark, cold winter into warmer weather and lighter days. And of course, all that lovely chocolate!  

Put a Spring in your step and promote your brand. No matter who your marketing campaigns are aimed at, the Easter holiday provides some great opportunities. There are many ways for small businesses to take advantage of the season and attract customers to your brand. Here's some suggestions:

1. Take Advantage of Spring Cleaning

It's traditional to have a Spring clean at home during this time of year so do the same for your marketing campaigns. Go over old data to identify past campaigns and methods that haven't worked for you in the past. Throw them out and try something new that will help you to reach your target market more effectively. 

Your brand can also take advantage of all those spring-cleaning or doing DIY at home during the long weekend, particularly is you sell a product or service related to it. Cleaning and decorating firms could put in place an introductory offer for new customers and a special offer to encourage past customers to return.

DIY and homeware stores can put on a Sale on selected products to boost footfall.  Or you could provide a free service such as measuring, fitting or design to help boost orders.

If your business serves the local community, you could organise a community clean up of a beauty spot, beach, town centre or local park. Get everyone involved including local schools, other businesses, council representatives and as many local people as you can. Don't forget to let local newspapers and media know about what you're doing to help spread positive brand awareness.

There are many ways to take advantage of the Spring clean/fresh start - just think about what works best for your customers and business goals.  

2. Send an Easter Card along with a Discount
